Behbehani Unveils the All-New GMC Terrain 2011
Behbehani unveiled the All-American-Made GMC Terrain 2011 during a special launch event at the Sahara Kuwait Resort in the presence of many VIP customers, representatives of General Motors and many esteemed representatives of the press and media. The new crossover vehicle will join GMC’s popular line-up in the region.

The 2011 Terrain is a crossover immaculately combining bold styling with a smooth ride delivered through a powerful and economic engine giving it segment-leading fuel efficiency

The Terrain has the bold design of a GMC SUV, with the commanding outward view that many customers appreciate. The Terrain’s front end, with squared-off edges and flared fenders, appeals to those who want something stronger looking than the typical “soft road” vehicle.

“The All New GMC Terrain is an answer to the needs of a varied group of individuals who seek a vehicle that provides them a combination of beauty and power, with strong outer appearance, comfortable interiors and state of the art features. The New Terrain bears a very strong resemblance to GMC’s battle-horse brand of years, the Yukon and although it is smaller in size, it inherits the key features of the Yukon such as Power, Performance and Durability in a compact, practical package and hence, it is also called “Wald Al Yukon”, said Mr. Adel Behbehani, Sales Director at MSRY Behbehani.

When equipped with the new 2.4L direct injected Ecotec engine and six-speed automatic transmission producing 182hp and 233Nm, the Terrain is EPA-rated at a segment-leading 7.35 liters per 100km on the highway (FWD model) – giving the crossover best-in-class fuel economy. The 3.0L direct injected V-6 engine producing 264hp and 301Nm is EPA-rated at 9.4 liters per 100km on the highway (also the FWD model), thereby also beating out some of the competition.

The 2011 GMC Terrain is exemplary of a vehicle with integrated technological solutions which makes for a smarter, safer, fun and convenient vehicle. In terms of safety, the Terrain comes with a standard rear-vision camera, allowing the driver to view objects and people directly behind the vehicle.

In terms of convenience, the Terrain comes with optional features such as a programmable lift-gate which can be set for a lower height, clearing possible garage obstructions and making it easier to reach for those of a shorter stature. Meanwhile, the driver can remotely start the vehicle to automatically cool down on a hot afternoon.

With a rigid, body-integral structure with single-piece body side stampings allows more precise assembly, with tighter and more uniform gap tolerances. The result is a vehicle that will feel solid for years.
